Food Glorious Food!

So it’s now my third week on Slimming World and I think I have finally got the hang of eating lunch. Gone are the tiny soup portions and salad – yesterday I had chicken and chorizo pasta, today I have chicken curry with rice – all home made of course.

I don’t know how it works. The idea that I can have as much potato and pasta as I like but still lose weight seems strange to me. That being said, this will be the first week I’ve gone all out with lunches so the proof will be on Saturdays weigh day. Something to look forward too, and by look forward to I mean dread.

Fun fact: woman on train next to me just poured coffee all over herself.

Anyway.

My eating is definitely much better. I’m eating freshly cooked meals and they’re all free or very low syns on Slimming World. They’re tasty too. Lately I’ve been thinking of ways to adapt the foods I thought I’d have to give up like a full English. I shall let you know how that goes!!

That’s it for now, the trains getting busy!

Much love,

xXx

I love slimming world. There’s so much variety and opportunity to create your own recipes. Have you been having good weight loss so far with it? Most people are very surprised in their first week to have eaten so much but lost weight. It’s always nice to see them convert to the slimming world way of thinking lol. Proof is in the pudding!

    Mmmmm….pudding….

So far so good – I lost 5lbs week one and 4.5lbs week too. Week 3 weigh in is tomorrow and I’m feeling skeptical! This week I had some rather big (but free) lunches. I’m not convinced the scale is going to move… we shall see!!

      I miss pudding 😦 x

Well done! That’s great! 9.5lbs in two weeks is great. I can never seem to shift more than 2lbs a week at the minute and that’s max! Most weeks it’s fluctuates between staying the same or around 1.5lbs. Wish it was coming off in 4’s and 5’s lol. But nevermind!
We’re going the right way and that’s all that matters!
Keep it up you’re doing great 🙂

Ha! Thanks 🙂 I have found (based on past diets!) that I lose really quickly in the first couple of weeks, then it evens out to 2lbs a week – I’m happy with that!! It’s when the scales don’t budge I get grumpy x
