Weigh Day: -1

To be honest, I don’t deserve a loss at all! Last week was not a good week.

Firstly, my beloved pet rat died. I was and still am very sad about this.

To combat the loss of my rat, Dan and I decided to buy fish! I had no idea fish were so much effort!

As a consequence of having to set up the fish and mourning the loss of Whiskers, I had not 1 but 2 takeaways. The first was sausage and chips from a local chippy, the second a chicken kebab with enough garlic mayo to drown in!

Even whilst picking my takeaway, I did try to remain sensible. No king size donner with a side of onion rings for example.

Carole has also been neglected. Not forgotten but neglected! She will also be neglected this week as I write my final assignment for my OU course – I will be so pleased when I get this out the way!!

So yes. That’s my week. I was a very lucky girl!

I’m also just into the 21 bracket! Oh yeah!

Much love

xXx

The way to think about it is: it’s a loss, whether it’s 1 or 100! You’ve lost something, and that’s the right direction! Next week you’ll lose again and it will mount up. Keep your head up high, I’m sorry about your pet, and good luck on your assignment! Drink lots of water, that’s my top tip 🙂 xx

The fact you were still being relatively sensible when with your takeaway choice and you’re jumping back on your diet shows you deserve your loss. Normally people when they blow their diets think “fuck it” and just stuff their face with all crap so you did well to resist that and of course resisting the “I bollocksed it the past couple of days may as well not bother the rest of the week”.

I am sorry to hear about your rat and keep up with the good work 🙂

Sorry to hear about Whiskers! Congrats on the loss – pound a week is what everyone aims for, so you’re on the right track. Keep it up!
